Attend a STEM Panel discussion

IISME has organized a FREE Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Panel discussion for Bay Area educators.  The panelists are industry and research professionals who are excited to share their insights on STEM careers, applications in industry, and skills crucial in the workplace. 

Below are a few sample questions from previous panel discussions:

  • What inspired you to pursue a career in a STEM field?
  • What STEM concepts do you use in your work that you feel should be taught in the classroom?
  • What types and levels of STEM are being used in the various positions around your organization?
  • What real world examples of STEM concepts can you share that you experience in your work?
  • What types of skills do you recognize as being crucial to your daily position?
  • What should teachers be emphasizing to prepare their kids for the work place?

The date and location is as follows:

  • Tuesday, March 16th from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Irvington High School at 41800 Blacow Road, Fremont, CA

All San Francisco Bay Area Teachers, Administrators, etc are welcome!  If you would like to attend, please RSVP via the following link.  To ensure adequate space, we cannot accept drop-ins.
